Privacy policy
Last updated October 21, 2026
The short version: we keep what you put into Fealty so the app can work, and we show it only to the people you share a dynamic with. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and we don't use third-party analytics or tracking. You can delete your account in the app at any time.
Who we are
Fealty (the website at fealty.me, the web app at app.fealty.me and the Android app) is run by Jake Ball Group, LLC, doing business as whskyqsr, in Michigan, USA ("we", "us"). Questions or requests about your data go to hello@fealty.me.
What we collect
Your account
- Your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the name and email your Google account shares with us.
- The display name and profile picture you choose.
- Settings such as your time zone, quiet hours, week start and which notifications you've turned off.
- When you confirmed you're 18 or older and agreed to the rules for proof photos.
What you put into a dynamic
- Tasks, rituals and their schedules, reschedule requests, comments, rules, protocols, limits, rewards, consequences, points, calendar plans, notes and journal entries, and the mood you pick when you complete a check-in.
- Proof photos you choose to upload.
- Reports you make about a photo or a person, and the people you block.
Much of this can reveal things about your sex life and relationships. We treat all of it as sensitive, use it only to run Fealty for you, and collect it only because you choose to enter it.
Your devices
- A push notification token for each device or browser where you turn notifications on.
- Technical records our hosting providers keep when your device talks to our servers, such as IP address, request time and browser or app version, used for security and troubleshooting.
We don't collect your location today. If we add location-based features, they will be off until you turn them on, and we will update this policy before they ship.
Who can see it
- The people in your dynamic see what's shared in it: tasks, rules, points, shared notes, proof photos, check-in moods and the rest. Notes and journal entries you mark private, and the moods on them, are visible only to you.
- Our team looks at your data only to keep Fealty running and safe: to investigate a report (including viewing a reported photo), to answer a request from you, or when the law requires it.
- Service providers who run parts of Fealty for us and may only use your data to do so: Google Firebase (sign-in and push notifications), Railway (servers and database, in the United States), Resend (email, such as address confirmations) and Google Fonts (the web app loads its fonts from Google, which sees your IP address).
- Authorities, when we're legally required to, or to report child sexual abuse material, which we will always report.
We don't sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Notifications
Notifications say who did what kind of thing, such as "Sam finished a task", and never include the task itself, so nothing revealing shows on a lock screen. Push messages pass through Google's and, on some browsers, Apple's or Mozilla's delivery services.
How long we keep it
- Your data stays while your account exists, so your dynamic keeps its history.
- When a dynamic ends, its proof photos are deleted. The rest stays readable to the people who were in it, and can no longer change.
- You can delete any proof photo you uploaded at any time.
- When you delete your account (Settings, then Account), we delete your sign-in, email, name, picture, settings, devices, private notes, journal and the photos you uploaded. A dynamic only you were in is deleted entirely. In a dynamic shared with someone else, they keep their read-only copy of what was shared (including check-in moods), credited to "Deleted account" rather than to you.
- Reports are kept after they're resolved so we can act on repeat abuse. Backups and provider logs may hold deleted data for a limited time before they expire.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change most of your data in the app, and delete your account there. You can also email hello@fealty.me to ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion. Depending on where you live, laws such as the GDPR or US state privacy laws give you these rights and others, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a regulator. We honor these requests for everyone, wherever they live, and won't treat you differently for making one. We may need to confirm it's really you first.
If you're in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction: we process your account and dynamic data to provide the service you asked for, sensitive data on the basis of your explicit consent when you choose to enter it, and technical records for our legitimate interest in keeping Fealty secure. Your data is stored and processed in the United States.
Security
All traffic to Fealty is encrypted. Proof photos are kept in our database, never at a public address, and are served only to signed-in members of the dynamic they belong to. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you if a breach affects your data as the law requires.
Adults only
Fealty is only for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete accounts we learn belong to a minor.
Changes
We'll post any change to this policy here with a new date. If a change matters, such as a new kind of data or a new way of sharing it, we'll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
